Ed opened the doors of the A+1 Transmission Specialists facility on August 8, 1978. The facility is the largest Transmission facility in the Kerr County Area. The A+1 Transmission Specialists is a general repair facility that specialty is transmissions. Ed is the Treasurer of the International ATRA Board of Director, and the ATRA Director for Region V which includes Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi; and the current President of the ATRA Southwest Chapter (Texas). Ed is also ASE Certified and a long time member of ATRA; locally he is the Treasurer of the Turtle Creek Volunteer Fire Department for the last twenty-one years and actually involved for (31 years); he has the rank of Sergeant in The Former Texas Rangers Foundation; he holds memberships in The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Kerrville Area Chamber of Commerce, West Kerr County Chamber of Commerce, American Red Cross Hero, U. S. Golf Association, Schreiner Golf Course, NRA and most importantly a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Mary has been involved with the office management of A+1 Transmission for about 17 years; she is the wife of Ed Doyle and together they have four children, eleven grandchildren, one great grandchild and one great nephew. Mary was born in Kerrville and has lived in the area all of her life.

John Creacy has been with our company since March of 1997. John is an ASE CERTIFIED MASTER AUTOMOBILE TECHNICIAN in Engine Repair, Automatic Transmission/Transaxle, Manual Drive Train/Axles, Suspension/Steering, Brakes, Electrical/Electronic Systems, Heating/Air Conditioning, Engine Performance. John is also an ASE CERTIFIED SERVICE CONSULTANT. John's talents also include restoration of antique vehicles and has designed and welded many hunting racks with benches and custom containers for the new "ECO Green Systems."

Wesley Gordon has been with our company since August of 2000. Wes is an ASE Certified Automobile Technician certified in Engine Repair, Automatic Transmission/Transaxle,Manual Drive Train and Axles, also Brakes. Wes is also ATRA Certified in Rebuilding and Chassis.
Billy Rushing

Billy Rushing has been with our company since June of 2005. Billy is an ASE Certified Automobile Technician in Engine Repair, Suspension and Steering and Brakes. Billy performs all alignments and handles all of our four wheel drive vehicles, lift kits, and has cutomized many off road vehicles. Billy has been our high producer for two years in a roll.
